Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira II Camp (3,500 m)

Overnight: Shira II Camp

Trek across the scenic Shira Plateau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start with a 3–4 hour hike to Shira I Camp for lunch, then continue 4–5 hours through breathtaking moorland to Shira II Camp, nestled beneath a dramatic lava flow. Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) and Descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 m)
