Moshi to Marangu Gate - Mandara Huts, back to Moshi

You will leave Moshi early in the morning to depart for Marangu Gate. The drive will take approximately 1 hour. After completing gate registration, you will begin your Kilimanjaro Day Hike. Walking along a narrow trail through the rainforest of Kilimanjaro up to Mandara Huts you will meet mountain climbers descending from the top. At Mandara Huts you will have your lunch and the possibility to take a short walk to the Maundi Crater. The views to the East over Taveta and to the Northwest to Mawenzi Peak are stunning on a clear day, making the short hike well worth the effort. You will then have the opportunity to take photos once arriving at Maundi Crater before descending down to the Marangu Gate. Our vehicles will be waiting at Marangu Gate to take you back to Moshi where you will overnight at Kilimanjaro White House Hotel Bed and Breakfast.

Moshi to Chemka Hot Spring, to Arusha

We pick you up from the hotel at 9:00 in the morning to the Hot Springs is very bumpy and windy, so driving takes more than one hour. During the trip, you can enjoy the wonderful scenery and see authentic Tanzanian life. When we arrive at the Hot Springs you can swim, relax, eat your lunch and enjoy the sun. after late afternoon transfer to Arusha where you will overnight at The Charity Hotel International Bed and Breakfast.

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

We will leave Arusha early morning and travel to Serengeti National Park. We will travel to Serengeti on a road near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, allowing for animal sightings along the way. The golden savannah and endless plains, teeming with zebras, wildebeest and giraffes make it easy to understand why the Serengeti is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. On this day, we will enjoy a picnic lunch on Naabai kopje (a small, rocky hill in a generally flat area), where you will have the opportunity to view the Serengeti’s famous pink-headed lizards. After lunch, we will proceed further into the plains for a leisurely game drive. You will spend the night at the Serengeti,

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

We will begin our day with an early morning game drive in the central Serengeti. The savannah is an active landscape and the air is flooded with the melodies the birds create as the regenerated sunlight starts to illuminate the full landscape. Your guide will study the prints on the ground to pursue predators. We will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will be provided with dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early morning breakfast in your hotel from Arusha, we will hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as it is the best time to spot animals. On this day, we will enjoy a game drive around the crater and stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake within the park. The lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds, so guests will be sure to enjoy the visit! Due to the animal “oasis” created within the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. The group comprises some of the strongest animals in Africa – the ferocious lion, the giant elephant, the stealthy leopard, the charging rhino and the mighty water buffalo. Ngorongoro Crater is truly an amazing place. Did you know it was formed over two million of years ago? A large volcano erupted, collapsing the volcano, but left a perfectly unbroken crater, known as a caldera. Within the amazing crater you can expect to view the playful zebra, lumbering hippo, swift wildebeest and cackling hyenas.

Arusha to Zanzibar (Flight not included in the price)

Transfer to the airport and fly to Zanzibar. Up on arrival in Zanzibar will pick you up from airport in Zanzibar and transfer to your hotel.

Safari Blue Day Trip

After breakfast depart for a full day guided tour of Safari Blue. For an unforgettable day in Zanzibar a post breakfast drive will take you to Fumba Village, where you will hop on a traditional dhow boat to sail to the breathtaking Menai Bay home to a cluster of beautiful, uninhabited islands. Once you reach the destination, the dhow boat will be anchored in an idyllic spot, allowing you to swim around the island, snorkeling along the rich coral reefs, spot the frolicking dolphins or explore the pristine islets. The reefs surrounding the sand bank are the second snorkeling trip; the underwater world will seem very different compared to your first stop waiting for you! Enjoy the short trip with your boat towards your final stop where you reach the beautiful island Kwale, and our crew will be on this secluded uninhabited Island. On this secluded uninhabited Island, you will enjoy the lunch fit for Kings from an Island in the Indian Ocean, with slipper lobsters.
