Moshi to Lemosho Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
After breakfast in Moshi, you will drive to Lemosho Gate, where you will complete the registration procedures before starting your trek. You will continue along the forest trails until you reach Mti Mkubwa Camp, also known as Big Tree Camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Upon reaching Barafu Camp, you will have an early dinner and receive a briefing from your guide about the summit climb. You will then rest and prepare your equipment before getting some sleep ahead of the midnight departure.

Around midnight, you will begin your summit attempt, climbing slowly through the darkness toward Stella Point on the crater rim. This is the most challenging part of the trek, requiring determination and a steady pace. After reaching Stella Point, you will continue along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 metres above sea level. After celebrating your achievement and taking photographs, you will descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing down to Mweka Camp, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation.
