Shira I Camp to Shira II Camp (3,890 m)

Shira II Camp to Lava Tower Camp to Barranco Camp (3,940 m)

Ascend eastward from Shira II Camp toward Lava Tower, also known as the ‘Shark’s Tooth’. After lunch, descend to Barranco Camp for acclimatization and rest. This stage prepares your body for the high-altitude summit climb. Enjoy dinner while soaking in stunning Kilimanjaro views.

Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,673 m)

Barafu Camp to Summit (5,895 m) – Descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 m)

Hiking Time: 7–8 hours ascent / 4–6 hours descent 

Habitat: Arctic

Begin your midnight summit climb (2 a.m.) through scree to Stella Point, then continue to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) for a stunning sunrise on Kilimanjaro.
