Moshi to Marangu Gate to Horombo Hut
After breakfast at your hotel in Moshi, you will be picked up by your driver and transferred to Marangu Gate, the starting point of your Kilimanjaro climbing adventure. After completing registration and park formalities, begin your trek through the beautiful montane rainforest, surrounded by lush vegetation, towering trees, and colourful birdlife. As you ascend, enjoy the changing scenery and occasional wildlife sightings. After several hours of hiking, arrive at Horombo Hut, where you will have dinner, rest, and spend the night.

Horombo Hut (Acclimatization Day)
Today is dedicated to acclimatization to help your body adjust to the increasing altitude. After breakfast, you may take a guided acclimatization hike towards the Zebra Rocks area before returning to Horombo Hut. This gradual hike helps prepare your body for the higher elevations ahead. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountain landscape and, weather permitting, views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Spend the afternoon relaxing, drinking plenty of water, and preparing for the next stage of your climb. Dinner and overnight stay at Horombo Hut.

Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
After an early breakfast, continue your ascent from Horombo Hut towards Kibo Hut, crossing the alpine desert landscape between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. The vegetation becomes increasingly sparse as you climb higher, creating a dramatic and beautiful mountain environment. Walk at a steady pace, following your guide\'s instructions and taking regular breaks to manage the altitude. Upon arrival at Kibo Hut, enjoy a warm meal and rest. Your guide will brief you on the upcoming summit attempt. Have an early dinner and get as much sleep as possible before your midnight departure towards Uhuru Peak.

Summit to Uhuru Peak and Return to Horombo Hut
Around midnight, begin your summit attempt under the stars, climbing slowly through the cold and challenging high-altitude terrain towards Gilman\'s Point or Stella Point, depending on your progress and conditions. Continue towards Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 metres above sea level. Celebrate your achievement and take photographs at the summit while enjoying the extraordinary views, weather permitting. After spending a short time at the top, descend carefully to Kibo Hut for a brief rest and refreshments before continuing down to Horombo Hut. Dinner and overnight stay at Horombo Hut.

After breakfast at Horombo Hut, begin your final descent from the mountain, enjoying the scenic landscapes as you make your way towards Kilema Gate. Follow your guide\'s instructions and take care on the downhill trail, allowing time to rest and appreciate the surroundings. At the gate, complete the necessary park procedures and meet your transfer driver for the journey back to Moshi. Upon arrival at your hotel, take time to relax, enjoy a shower, and celebrate the completion of your Mount Kilimanjaro climbing adventure.
