Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you depart from Arusha and drive about 2–3 hours to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you begin a full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and many bird species. You enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue exploring different areas, especially around the Tarangire River where animals gather to drink. In the late afternoon, you proceed to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay either inside or near the park.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in Mto wa Mbu, you will meet your safari guide for a short briefing before departing toward Tarangire National Park. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, passing local villages, farms, and beautiful views of Lake Manyara region.

Upon arrival at Tarangire, you will begin a full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most wildlife-rich parks. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and many bird species.

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park, especially the Seronera region, known for rich wildlife activity. Enjoy sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Picnic lunch will be served inside the park.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, taking time to explore the vast open plains as you look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife that are most active in the early hours. Your guide will help you track animals and share insights about the ecosystem and animal behavior. Later, begin your scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro highlands, passing through beautiful landscapes, rolling hills, and Maasai communities along the way. You will have chances for photography stops and optional brief cultural interactions depending on time and interest.

Ngorongoro Crater – Mto wa Mbu

Early morning descent into the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a half-day game drive inside the famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. As you explore the crater floor, you will have excellent chances to spot the Big Five including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and hippos, along with zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.

Lake Manyara to Arusha

After breakfast, you enjoy a short morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, flamingos along the lake shores, and diverse birdlife. After the game drive, you begin your journey back to Arusha, which takes about 2.5–3.5 hours depending on stops along the way. You may have a stop at local craft markets or scenic viewpoints along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You arrive in Arusha in the afternoon or early evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward travel.
