You will begin the trek with a gradual ascent, crossing the barren Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. The landscape transitions into a lunar-like terrain with sparse vegetation and rocky outcrops. Trekking 10 km over 6–8 hours, you will experience a unique high-altitude environment, capturing dramatic photos of Kilimanjaro’s alpine desert. Upon reaching Kibo Huts, rest and enjoy an early dinner to conserve energy. Prepare mentally and physically for the midnight summit attempt, as the following day will require endurance and careful pacing for the final climb to Uhuru Peak.
