Your private safari begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, located about 50 kilometers from Kilimanjaro International Airport. You will drive for approximately 6 to 7 hours (around 325 kilometers) through the Ngorongoro highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic landscapes and may spot wildlife even before entering the park. Upon arrival in Serengeti, you will begin your first game drive across the vast plains covering about 14,750 square kilometers and hosting more than 3 million large animals. Dinner and overnight will be at a mid-range tented camp in central Serengeti.

This day is dedicated to a full exploration of Serengeti National Park with flexible game drives based on your preferences. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to observe predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, while midday offers opportunities to see large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo grazing. After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes approximately 3 to 4 hours (about 145 kilometers) and continues to offer wildlife sightings along the way. By afternoon, you will arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim, located at an elevation of about 2,200 meters above sea level. The crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, covering about 260 square kilometers and reaching a depth of approximately 600 meters. Dinner and overnight will be at a mid-range lodge on or near the crater rim, offering stunning views of the crater below
