Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be warmly greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your accommodation for check-in and a brief orientation. After breakfast, your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park in which the journey start between 07:00 AM-08:00 AM and you must be within 10 kilometers from the Arusha city center to be picked by the transport, known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. As you enter the park, you'll immediately be surrounded by the beauty of the African savannah, where wildlife roams freely. Tarangire is home to a variety of animals, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras. You might also spot smaller animals like warthogs, mongooses, and impalas. The park is famous for its birdlife, including the yellow-collared lovebird. After an exciting game drive, you'll check into your comfortable accommodation. In the evening at Mto wa Mbu, enjoy a delicious dinner and take time to relax and reflect on your first day of safari.
