Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be warmly greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your accommodation for check-in and a brief orientation. After breakfast, your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park in which the journey start between 07:00 AM-08:00 AM and you must be within 10 kilometers from the Arusha city center to be picked by the transport, known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. As you enter the park, you'll immediately be surrounded by the beauty of the African savannah, where wildlife roams freely. Tarangire is home to a variety of animals, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras. You might also spot smaller animals like warthogs, mongooses, and impalas. The park is famous for its birdlife, including the yellow-collared lovebird. After an exciting game drive, you'll check into your comfortable accommodation. In the evening at Mto wa Mbu, enjoy a delicious dinner and take time to relax and reflect on your first day of safari.

Manyara (Mto wa Mbu) to Serengeti National Park

After a hearty breakfast at Manyara (Mto wa Mbu) , you’ll begin your journey to the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destination. On the way, you’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater rim to enjoy breathtaking views of the caldera.

Upon arriving in the Serengeti, you’ll embark on an exciting afternoon game drive, where you’ll encounter the park’s incredible wildlife. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast open plains, home to the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes—along with other animals like cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeests, and zebras.

Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeests and zebras cross the Serengeti plains in a spectacular display. After a thrilling game drive, you’ll check into your accommodation within the Serengeti.

This day is dedicated to a full day of game drives in the world-famous Serengeti, allowing you to explore its vast, diverse ecosystems. The iconic Serengeti National Park is known for its rich wildlife, so be ready for exciting opportunities to see the Big Five and more. You’ll visit various parts of the park, including riverine forests, grassy plains, and rocky outcroppings known as kopjes, where lions and leopards often rest. The Serengeti is one of the best places in the world to witness wildlife behavior, including predator-prey interactions. For lunch, you’ll enjoy a picnic in one of the park's scenic spots. After a full day of exploration, you’ll return to Ngorongoro Conservation area for a restful evening, followed by a delicious dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast at Ngorongoro Conservation area,  you’ll depart for the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most extraordinary natural wonders. Descending into the crater—the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera—you’ll be surrounded by an astounding array of wildlife. The crater floor is home to a large concentration of lions, rhinos, elephants, and wildebeests, all within a stunning natural amphitheater. As you drive through the crater, you may also spot flamingos at Lake Magadi, a soda lake, and explore other unique landscapes such as the Shifting Sands. The Ngorongoro Crater is known for its rich biodiversity, and your guide will ensure that you have the best opportunities for wildlife sightings. After a packed lunch on the crater floor, you’ll continue your game drive before heading to your accommodation located on the crater rim.
