Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park by SGR Train
Your adventure begins with an early morning transfer to the SGR train station in Dar es Salaam, where you will board the train to Morogoro. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will meet you and proceed with a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park. After settling in at your lodge, you will enjoy a hot lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. Mikumi, often referred to as the “Serengeti of the South,” is home to elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, wildebeest, and zebras roaming across the vast savannah plains. As the sun sets, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay inside or near the park.
