4 Days Private Mid-Range Safari in Tanzania from Moshi

We depart early from Moshi and drive to Tarangire National Park around 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM, a wildlife haven known for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse animal species. Upon arrival, we embark on an exciting game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various bird species along the Tarangire River, a vital water source for wildlife. We enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing our safari, capturing breathtaking views of the golden savannah. As the sun sets, we head to our campsite for a hearty dinner and an overnight at Lake Manyara, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

After breakfast, we leave Lake Manyara behind and set off toward Serengeti National Park, taking in the breathtaking scenery along the way. Upon entering the Serengeti, we embark on an exciting game drive across its vast plains, where we may encounter cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and more. The park’s expansive savannahs offer prime wildlife viewing, with predators like lions and leopards often seen on the hunt. As the evening approaches, we arrive at our mid-range tented camp, nestled in the heart of the Serengeti, where we enjoy a delicious dinner.

We begin the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, the perfect time to witness predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action as they hunt. The park’s breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife make for an unforgettable safari experience. After breakfast at the camp, we embark on a final game drive, spotting more wildlife as we leave the Serengeti and toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the journey, we traverse the Serengeti plains, admiring the stunning scenery and diverse animal life. By late afternoon, we arrive at our mid-range lodge near Ngorongoro Crater, relaxing, enjoying a delicious dinner, and preparing for the next day’s crater adventure.

Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports many animals, including the Big Five, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino. We spend the morning exploring this natural wonder, enjoying game viewing against the backdrop of the crater’s towering walls. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, we begin our scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening around 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and marking the end of our safari.
