After an early breakfast, we set out for a morning game drive, giving us the best chance to spot the famous “Big Five.” Nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara offers breathtaking and diverse scenery, from golden savannah and lush shrubbery to winding rivers teeming with life. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the park’s beauty before continuing our exploration. The shimmering Soda Lake and vast savannah support an incredible ecosystem, home to countless animals and over 400 bird species, making it a true haven for bird lovers. Highlights include the park’s renowned tree-climbing lions, alongside elephants, buffalo, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. In the late afternoon, we bid farewell to Manyara and journey back to Arusha.
