You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcoming trek and do an equipment check to make sure you have all the necessary mountain gear. Lemosho Gate to Forest Camp (Mti Mkubwa Camp)

We depart from Moshi for Lemosho Gate, which takes about 2-3 hours, where you will complete entry formalities. Upon arrival at trailhead, we eat lunch, and then commence through undisturbed forest which winds to the first camp site which is Forest camp Know as {Big tree Camp}.

We continue on the trail leading out of the forest and into a savannah of tall grasses, heather, and volcanic rock draped with lichen beards. As we ascend through the lush rolling hills and cross several streams, we reach the Shira Ridge before dropping gently down to Shira 1 camp. The view of Kibo from across the plateau is amazing

We explore the Shira plateau for a full day. It is a gentle walk east toward Kibo’s glaciered peak, across the plateau which leads to Shira 2 Camp on moorland meadows by a stream. Then we Stay at shira 2 Camp. A variety of walks are available on Lent Hills making this an excellent acclimatization opportunity. Shira is one of the highest plateaus on earth.

From the Shira Plateau, we continue to the east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the peak of Kibo. As we continue, our direction changes to the South East towards the Lava Tower, called the “Shark’s Tooth.” Shortly after the tower, we come to the second junction which brings us up to the Arrow Glacier at an altitude of 16,000ft. We now continue down to the Barranco Camp at an altitude of 13,000ft. Here we rest, enjoy dinner, and overnight. Although you end the day at the same elevation as when you started, this day is very important for acclimatization and will help your body prepare for summit day.

Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

After breakfast, we leave Barranco Camp and continue on a steep ridge passing the Barranco Wall, to the Karanga Valley campsite. This is a short day meant for acclimatization.

After breakfast, we leave Karanga Camp and hit the junction which connects with the Mweka Trail. We continue up to the Barafu Camp. At this point, you have completed the South Circuit, which offers views of the summit from many different angles. Here we make camp, rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the summit day. The two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo are to be seen from this position.

Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak Summit to Mweka Camp

Very early in the morning, between midnight and 2am, we begin the final push to the summit between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. Ascending northwest through steep scree, we reach Stella Point at 18,600?ft for a short rest and breathtaking sunrise (weather permitting). Continuing for about an hour, we arrive at Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point. After celebrating the achievement, we descend via Barafu Camp for lunch to Mweka Camp, navigating loose gravel with gaiters and poles, ending the day with a well-earned dinner and rest.

After breakfast we continue the descent down to the Mweka Park Gate to receive your summit certificates. At lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy. Gaiters and trekking poles will help. Moshi to Tarangire National Park + Masai Village - Mto wa Mbu
After breakfast in Moshi, we will depart for Tarangire National Park early in the morning. Once we arrive in the early morning, we will begin exploring the enormous termite mounds and the ancient baobab trees. This Park is renowned for its diverse bird species and extensive population of elephants. There are regular sightings of ferocious lions, giraffe, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and mischievous baboons. After viewing the wildlife in Tarangire National Park we will continue our journey to Mto wa Mbu where you will visit Masai village cultural experience waits. Will make your way to a Maasai Village to catch a glimpse into their daily lives. You will be lucky enough to witness.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
A delicious breakfast showcasing local and organic products will be served at lodge, followed by a breathtaking drive to the Serengeti National Park. We will take the scenic route to Serengeti National Park, allowing for an amazing, bird’s-eye-view of Ngorongoro Crater. There is a high likelihood of spotting game on the drive. The endless golden savanna, contrasted with the vibrant patterns of zebras, lions, and elephants make it easy to understand why the Serengeti National Park is one of the Seven Natural wonders of Africa. We will stop for a picnic lunch on the most famous kopje (a small hill in a generally flat area) in the park, allowing you to experience the vastness Serengeti National Park from atop the hill. We will proceed further into the Serengeti National Park for a leisurely game drive where you will likely view herds of giraffes, elephants, and zebra. You will spend the night at the Serengeti National Park, where you will fall asleep to the mighty chorus of zebra, lions, and gazelles.

Full Day Game Drive Safari in Serengeti National Park
The day will begin in the center of the majestic Serengeti National Park. After a nourishing breakfast, we will continue our journey into the plains. Since we have a full day of game driving, you will likely view hundreds of the diverse animals that find their home within the Serengeti’s endless plains. This day will likely offer sightings of the African mammals that make the park famous- lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and water buffalo, all within a few feet of the jeep. You will also have the chance to view some of the parks lesser known, but equally majestic animals including, elands, hyenas, gazelles, crocodiles, giraffe, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos and antelope. Depending on the time of year, you will also have the chance to view thousands of zebras and wildebeest on their Great Migration.

Today is our last game drive in Serengeti National Park before we continue to Ngorongoro Crater. We will overnight at the crater; deal for watching the gorgeous sunset expands over the savannah within the caldera. After watching the sunset, guests can look forward to a delectable dinner made fresh by the Africa Natural Tour’s friendly cook. Begin, on a tour to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area making a stop at the Olduvai Gorge. This fascinating place, often referred to as “The Cradle of Mankind” holds significance as one of the worlds important paleoanthropological sites. Take some time to explore the on-site museum and delve into the captivating history of humans. Spend the night at a lodge nestled within Ngorongoro.

Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu
We will set off early in the morning to explore Ngorongoro Crater, as dawn provides the best opportunity to spot wildlife, especially the famed “Big 5”: lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo. A relaxing morning game drive will be followed by a picnic lunch near a hippo-filled pond, where guests can watch these massive creatures play in the water. Ngorongoro Crater, formed millions of years ago from a collapsed volcano, offers a unique sanctuary for wildlife. During the drive, you may encounter zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and flocks of flamingos at Soda Lake, as well as storks, cranes, and vultures soaring above. After the game drive, we will continue to Mto wa Mbu, where the evening concludes with a peaceful stay and a freshly prepared dinner.

Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour - Arusha
Breakfast at the lodge, you will leave at 8am accompanied by a Local guide to visit the Mto wa Mbu village which is famous for cultural tour, local markets, rice fields, sugar cane plantations, Banana Beer, Baobab Trees etc. This walk will take up to 4hours before you return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon swim at the lodge. Diving in Nungwi Northern Reefs
Our professional and friendly team will assist you in preparing for your diving adventures in Zanzibar. Once fitted with your equipment, we head to the jetty to board our boat, with boarding procedures varying depending on the tides. Boats depart at 8:00 am for two dives at different locations, with a 25-minute trip to the first site. Your dive guide will conduct safety checks and provide a briefing for a roughly 50-minute dive. Between dives, enjoy a surface interval on the boat with tea, water, fruit, and cake while soaking up the sun or relaxing in the shade. Afterward, the boat moves to the second dive location for another underwater adventure before returning to the dive center after 3–4 hours at sea, arriving between 1–2 pm for transfer back to your hotel.

Swimming with Turtle at Baraka Aquarium
Baraka’s Turtle Aquarium is a unique rehabilitation center for injured turtles, set within a natural tidal cave where you can swim and feed these gentle creatures. Located on Nugwi Beach in northern Zanzibar, the small natural pond serves as a sanctuary for turtles rescued from fishing nets, giving them a chance to recover before being released into the ocean. You can enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences swimming alongside the turtles, feeding them with seaweed, or simply relaxing in the water. You can also snorkel to observe them in their natural environment. The aquarium provides ample seaweed for feeding, and showers are available on site. For those less confident in the water, life jackets are provided, as the pond can reach depths of up to 2 meters, allowing everyone to safely enjoy this memorable encounter.
